So much to tell you, I just want you to know.
It doesn’t matter if I am awake or asleep
Your face is always present, your memory I keep.
I see your face as a stranger walks on by
It takes my breath away, I just want to cry.
Not because I am sad, it is the opposite that’s true
Because you bring me such joy, you’ve seen me through.
I still catch myself smiling by simply closing my eyes
Wishing and hoping you will be my next surprise.
